Today marks a landmark moment in a journey that began with a simple wish to share joy. I am incredibly proud to announce the series has crossed 150th post of the “Celebrate with Me”!

What started as a personal project has blossomed into a community-driven movement. It’s not just about celebrating a specific day; it’s about creating a space where every Local Guide has the opportunity to contribute on Google Maps and make their mark on these celebratory days, weeks or months with the community.

A Look at Our Milestone Journey :person_walking:t2:

To understand how we reached :one::five::zero:, we have to look back at the foundation that built this series:

  • The Starting (2024) :chequered_flag:: It all started with the Series till 2024, where the vision for “Celebrate with Me” first took flight.

  • The 50th Post Recognition :five::zero:: A major highlight was when the series reached its 50th milestone during the “10 Years of Local Guides Mapping the World Together” celebration.

  • The One-Year Anniversary :tada:: We marked one full year of consistent storytelling and community engagement.

  • The Century Mark :100:: We recently crossed the 100th-post milestone, a moment of deep reflection on our shared impact.

Since passing the 100th milestone, the series has evolved into something even more collaborative.

Series now recognize and feature fellow Local Guides who contribute to the same topics on Connect :sparkles:. If you are writing about a cause or celebration that aligns with the day’s theme, this series acts as a spotlight to amplify your voice. It’s a collective celebration of everyone in our community who takes the time to share.
