Celebrate International Day of Human Fraternity With Me

Hi Local Guides,

Today is celebrated and viewed as International day of Human Fraternity (February 4th). This day is viewed as to promote harmony between people regardless of their faith and culture. This day first came to be in 2020 which starts the day of interfaith harmony and peaceful coexistence. This day is also to promote sharing cultures and diversity between people.

This day is also a reminder of our community as Connect serves the purpose and promotes Human Fraternity. Inclusivity, Diversity and Equity is what our community has been part of as per speciality of this day.


What we can do as a Local Guide in Connect (as a post or in this post’s comment).

  • Share your regions festivals and culinary dishes in Connect.
  • Share any monuments in your local area in Connect.
  • Share Accessibility features seen in your area in Connect.
  • Share any unique LGBTQ+ Friendly cafes/restaurants/businesses in your area.
  • Share any unique places you have seen and visited to Connect.
  • Conduct Meetups and share those experiences.

Key moments of what Community have been doing for this day.

  • Chai Pe Charcha - How @TusharSuradkar has been doing to show various unique tea spots around India and to support Small buisness as a meet-up challenge. As Tea is different in different places of India, he has been shown/doing a valuable initiative to show support for this day.
  • Celebrating 10 years of Local Guides - How @NareshDarji has been doing a celebration Initiative where local guides have been conducting meetups to show various diversity and culture across the World (by Celebrating the 10th anniversary of Local Guides).
  • Women inspirer series - How @Globe_trotter_Ish has been doing a series to spotlight inspiring stories of women local guides around the World.
  • Introduce Yourself - An Introduction session for Local Guides to show where they’re from and what they love to do.

Also February 14th is Valentine’s day, you can share how you celebrating the day with your loved ones and with the community. Check Love is in the air (also on the Map).
