Small Business Meetup Challenge: Chai Pe Charcha, Talks over Tea

Chai Pe Charcha’ means Talks over Tea.
These are very popular in India.
Especially among local guides.

In Pune, local guides @TusharSuradkar, @AjitThite, @ShubhamWaman, and @NERKARAMIT often meet at tea joints.

We discuss meetup planning, sticker design, printing and distribution, design contests, small business support, accessibility, and new Google Maps features.

Challenge:
Which tea shop, stand, or cafe do you visit with friends?

  1. Post a photo :framed_picture:
  • Tea.
  • Group Photo having Tea.
  • Tea Stall Storefront Photo.
  1. Share the Google Maps Link :link: of the Tea stall you visited.

  2. Not on Google Maps :earth_asia:
If the tea stall is not on Google Maps. add it! :star_struck:
Note: When a place is added from the actual location, the chances and speed of approval are high.

  3. Did you write a review? :memo:
Please share a link to your review.

  4. Host a meetup :handshake: :hugs: :people_hugging:
:tea: Gather at a Tea Stall in your city
    :speaking_head: Have gup-shup with friends
:speech_balloon: Chai-pe-Charcha meaning Talks over Tea.

This is about supporting small businesses :weight_lifting_man:

Here are my Tea Stall visits or Storefront Photos.

1. Bhairav Tea

I often meet Amit Nerkar here since it is close to my residence in the Baner area of Pune and just outside Amit’s office.

We order several rounds of tea as we discuss the day and plans for the upcoming meetups in Pune and Mumbai.

  1. Jai Shankar Tea and Snacks.

This cafe was added by Shubham during our casual meeting last weekend.

Ajit Thite is seen guiding him on adding small businesses, and I was present to capture this precious moment for everyone.

We had our standard 3 rounds of tea - beginning, middle of Tea-Talks and before parting

Here’s the photo of the 2nd round, Jumbo Tea :elephant:

  1. Kimaya Veg Hotel

Last weekend, I and Shubham met an old friend Nitin Tamras, and introduced him to the Connect platform.

Shubham showed him various Google Maps tricks and new features.
I navigated around the Connect platform on my mobile and explained the various ways in which local guides can participate.

We had 2 rounds of Tea - before Nitin arrived and another one with Nitin.

What is your Chai-pe-Charcha story?
Please share your Tea Talks photos.

Remember - no homemade Tea photos please

Good challenge @TusharSuradkar about Talk over Tea. I have tea most of time (without sugar nowadays). Most interesting feature is : show may not have a indoor or outdoor seating, but stalls attracts people who connects and gradually talks. I have met a lot of friends through that. Thank you sharing these beautiful images with fellow local guides!

Thank you @Rahul001

You got it perfectly right :+1: we make new friends and connect with local guides at tea stalls.

That’s the idea of the challenge - introduce new people to LG Connect and support small business over Tea :tea:

I am hosting my first meet up and invited many local guides. Will surely share the photo with my chai friends and deer park is popular for small chai vendors roaming so will post a few pics too. Looking forward to participating. Is there a deadline to this challenge?? @TusharSuradkar

Wooww @TusharSuradkar
This challenge is such an exciting way to showcase our favorite tea spots! I have a go-to tea stall in my city where I frequently hang out with friends. It’s a cozy little place with the perfect blend of chai and conversations.
Visit the tea stall and capture some great photos – a hot cup of tea, a group selfie with friends, and the stall’s storefront.

@TusharSuradkar this is very sensible and achievable challenge. You’re making it a win-win-win for the Google-LGs-SmallBusinesses.

Friends, Teashop, Small chats what else do you need more :star_struck: to make the day wonderful. And your team @ShubhamWaman @AjitThite @NERKARAMIT @TusharSuradkar should have enjoyed it a lot :+1:

Will definitely plan something soon
