Dear LG Community,
It’s said that the best conversation happens over a kulhad chai and with great company. Further to our dear LG member @TusharSuradkar ji initiating the #ChaiPeCharcha series refer to this link for chai pe charcha series, we had another opportunity to meet a fellow LG connect member who came all the way to Delhi from Rajasthan Krishna Kant ji.
On the 6th of February me, @ssiddharth2000 and @SharmaK ji met for Chai at the Palika Bazar. It was rather an impromptu meeting which would have lasting memories. It was a pleasure to meet Krishna ji as he came all the way from Rajasthan to Delhi. We explored the marketplace and sipped Kulhad chai, had some great conversation related to LG Connect and Google Maps. We learnt more details about how to update maps, report incorrect listing, how to do meet-ups as much as possible, how he introduced new members to the local guides community and many more topics. He shared his experience as a Dean and educator which was intriguing. He believes in sharing and gaining knowledge with every experience just like me and Siddharth.
About Ramble Pan and Tea Stall :
This cosy hidden corner is next to the paid parking lot of palika bazar. It is more than 40 years old tea shop. Earlier it was just one small stall now the owner has acquired more than 4 shops in the same row. He has opened Samyar Communication where he also sells mobile accessories. But still the taste of kulhad chai, hot chocolate, hot coffee and cold coffee is still deliciously tempting. We had 2 kulhad chai for siddharth and krishna ji and my favourite cold coffee for me. They do not have wheelchair accessiblity, people can stand or sit upstairs in the park or on the pavement if they can’t climb down the stairs. They also have people sitting and chatting have chai or coffee. We also edited the timings of the tea shop and reviewed the place.
