There’s a tea shop near the railway station that I’m especially fond of. It’s a roadside tea shop where everyone enjoys their tea while standing by the side of the road. The shop is part of a proper permanent structure without signboard. It has become a ritual for me to stop there and enjoy a cup of tea whenever I visit the station, which happens quite frequently. They offer two options: a kulhad (earthen cup) for ₹10, which adds a unique flavor to the tea, or a regular cup for ₹5. What makes the experience even better is the owner, who is an exceptionally kind and humble person, always serving with a smile. This small shop has truly become a special part of my trips to the station.
After Tushar Ji’s Chai Pe Charcha Talks Over Tea campaign, when I visited the tea shop, I decided to check it on Google Maps. Surprisingly, it wasn’t listed, so I added it myself. I also took a picture and wrote a review for it.
@K.K.Sharma If there’s one thing I love the most, it’s chai, and I’ve been teaching my daughter to like it too…here in Canada we have great places with chai
Hello Dr. @K.K.Sharma after reading the article I wish I knew that kulhad could be a solution to reducing plastic waste, your story is very inspiring, thanks for sharing
