The shop front was packed with customers and very close to the main road with no name board. So couldn’t talk it’s pic.
Today’s photo walk in Chinnakada, kollam ended with a lovely surprise. I found a tiny roadside tea shop just across from the railway station. It was small, with no seating, yet full of life. The place was packed with people, all enjoying their tea and snacks.
The smell of fresh chai filled the air, and the snacks looked crispy and delicious looking. All at very low prices. Sadly, I couldn’t try them because of health reasons, but seeing the happy faces around me, I knew they were tasty.
The friendly owner biju, has been running the shop for 20 years. That’s two decades of serving hot tea .
The tea shop was not on google maps so I added it
A few things to keep in mind:
No wheelchair access (it’s a very small space).
No toilet (limited space).
Even with its simple setup, this tea shop had a warm and welcoming feel. If you’re ever near Kollam railway station, stop by for a quick chai break…
