Letâs celebrate and appreciate one of most beloved ingredient in the world - Butter Day(November 17th). From baking to cooking to simply having with slice of bread, butter makes every dish a touch a richness and creaminess.
Rich and Caramelly flavoured Butter Beer I had at The Muffin House.
Not only butter can carry flavours but also has been stable in diets for thousands of years. Like animal based butter, plant based alternatives like vegan butter also made it way to enjoy the creamy goodness as shown in Master Chef Challenge by @TheRealKristin.

Itâs wonderful to see how an ingredient becomes a joy which connects local guides to experience even more further.
Similarly how a local guide couple, @zac555 and @FalguniP shared their experience of the icon Mumbai street food - Bun Maska (a buttered bun) at Elaichi Chai by showing how this simple treat is a global enjoyable food that tastes great even in Vancouver.
Who can forget about having buttery baked flatbreads with rich curry? @_aviralagrawal shared his food experience that included soft Butter Naan with paneer curry at Millennium Inn.

Paneer Butter Masala wasnât so popular in South India before. Back then, when we went to restaurants, we usually ordered things like porotta, dosa, or simple South Indian curries like naadan chicken curry or vegetable curry, because me and my family didnât know the flavors of North Indian curries back then. But, now that itâs so popular, I decided to try it at home for the first time and fell in love with it . The smell the flavour evrything is so perfect and I love adding butter to bread, fruit salads, etc. @Rahul001
Same in MH @Gouri.PS
The Butter Chicken and Butter Paneer all seem like imported foodstuffs.
Except the butter which is given to us by the Makhan Chor - Bhagwan Krishna
Here comes the day Iâve been waiting for.
I am writing my âbestestâ and dream post in response to the butter day.
Just compiling all the images and GMaps links and possibly post it tonight or tomorrow morning.
Thank you immensely for this opportunity, buddy
Stay tuned. The post is going to blow you away along with everyone else
Butter, a humble ingredient yet hardly a day goes by without using it in our kitchen. Thank you for highlighting all these lovel posts by LGs celebrating the butter day @Rahul001
Absolutely agrees with you. South Indian uses butter every rarely back in days & ghee was itâs substitute. Cultural exchange between regions mainly contribute towards using butter in most dishes.
Paragon Restaurant was always my go-to spotlight, when I crave for a butter naan or buttery curry.
Is the butter flavoured or have any unique taste from Ireland?
What I add is non-alcoholic one where they add buttery caramel flavour, cream and non-alcoholic beer. They also add melted butter too at the finish. Butter beer have creamy buttery caramel flavour to it.
@Rahul001 this is great! Iâm in the USA where it seems we use butter on anything and everything! I have two major passions: traveling and cooking! So needless to say I use a lot of butter and buy many of ingredients, including butter, from many of the farms I visit.
I donât have an exact foods but you mostly cover vada pav or pav bhaji during meetups and we local guides always share our favourite food on our meet-ups right. @TusharSuradkar
We use the regular butter usually, though the garlic and cheese flavoured works well for a sandwich too. Also, unsalted white butter goes brilliantly with parantha @Rahul001
Thank you, @Rahul001
for coming up with an interesting celebrate Butter day with me post.
When I think of butter, the very first thing that comes to my mind is Amul Butter. It has been a part of our lives from time immemorial.
Youâve given me the perfect opportunity to express my sweet âutterly butterly deliciousâ feelings about the cute little Amul Butter Girl on the occasion of Butter Day.
Amul Butter is famous for its iconic âAmul Girlâ topical ads, one of the longest running advertising campaigns in the world. Their catchy lines, filled with puns on politics, festivals, and trending news, feel like a parallel news feed in themselves.
The earliest ads established the Amul Girl not just as a mascot, but as a cute and clever symbol that could comment on food, culture, and everyday life. They blended humour, wordplay, and butter the magical formula that made the Amul Girl campaign so beloved.
Amul Butter is also a symbol of a large, successful cooperative that empowers rural India. Nearly 3.6 million dairy farmers are part of the Amul cooperative, making it one of the strongest farmer owned networks in the world.
Itâs amazing how a simple little cartoon continues to remain deeply relevant and loved across generations.
Coming to the Dish made with butter that I love is Bhutanese dish Ema-Dachi (chilly and cheese with butter). I simply love this dish , will share recipe some day.
