A Feast of Flavors - My Contribution to the Thali Challenge šŸ½ļøāœØ

As a true foodie, I couldn’t resist joining the #ThaliChallenge by India Local Guides. Here’s my collection of delicious thalis, each bringing its own unique taste, aroma, and cultural vibe.

:one: North Indian Veg Thali - Haldiram’s, Delhi (₹320)
Served with naan, steamed rice, dal makhani, paneer butter masala, seasonal vegetables, raita, papad, fresh cucumber slices, and a sweet gulab jamun. A complete comfort meal full of variety and rich flavors.

:two: Puri with Aloo Curry –Sagar Ratna, Prayagraj (₹155)
Golden, fluffy puris paired with mildly spiced aloo curry and a second variation of dal. Simple yet soul-satisfying, perfect for a homely lunch.

:three: Punjabi Special Combo - Millennium, Prayagraj
Butter naan, tandoori roti, sarson da saag, paneer curry, and tangy onion salad. This was a pure treat for the taste buds, bringing that authentic dhaba-style vibe indoors.

:four: Gujarati Unlimited Thali - Jai Gurudev Restaurant, Vadodara (₹170 / ₹190 if food is wasted)
A wholesome spread with roti, bhakri, puri, seasonal sabzis, dal, kadhi, farsan, pickle, papad, dessert, and rice - all served with love. A perfect balance of sweet, spicy, and tangy flavors.

Every plate tells a story - from the warmth of home-cooked flavors to the richness of restaurant-style meals.

:camera_with_flash: Captured during my food explorations - each bite was worth sharing!

All look fabulous, dear @_aviralagrawal

The Haldiram Thali is popular in Delhi, and I have tried it at many places.
Even smaller and lesser-known restaurants have copied this style in Delhi NCR and Gurugram.

Its composition is such that it satisfies all of our taste buds :face_savoring_food:
I think that is the reason for its success.

The Puri+Aloo thali looks simplistic and perfect on the go.

Punjabi Thali, as usual, looks heavy on the stomach.
So I would go for it when seriously hungry.

Please add all in the Thali challenge post

Thank you so much, @TusharSuradkar sir! :folded_hands::blush: Absolutely agree, the Haldiram thali has that perfect balance of flavors, which makes it so popular. The Puri + Aloo thali is indeed a simple delight, while the Punjabi thali is a real hunger-buster :face_savoring_food: I’ll definitely add all of them in the Thali challenge post :+1:
