You know those simple pleasures that just hit the spot? For me, that’s the humble yet delightful butter bun, an often-unsung hero of Tamil Nadu’s sweet scene. It’s all about the magic of a soft bun embracing a generous slather of butter and a sprinkle of sweet sugar. So easy, so comforting, and loved by everyone from tiny tots to grandpas and grandmas! 
But this little shop on Kamarajar Salai has taken this classic up a notch! Not only do they serve the traditional sugar-kissed butter bun, but they also offer a version with the rich, caramel notes of palm jaggery! 
We ducked in here to escape the downpour, and honestly, it was the perfect soothing indulgence. The warmth of the bun, the melting butter, and that touch of sweetness – pure bliss!
