Energy Savings Week is viewed from January 20th to 26th. This week is to create awareness and to promote conservation of energy and to save energy. What this week has to offer is to save energy by converting into other means. For example: Imagine you are going to a Mall or going to watch a movie, try to travel by public transport rather than starting your vehicle. You can see more about energy conservation day in this link.
Aim for this Week:
Reduce carbon emissions.
Save energy for the future!
Convert to other means of transportation to save fuel and energy!
Thank you @giteshsharma for your valuable comment and and words. You can also contribute in this week by adding EV charging stations or Smart devices ( bins, bathroom which uses solar panel) to Maps!
Thank you @NareshDarji for your valuable comment and words! You are correct as we enable less fuel-consumption button, we can reduce carbon emission and save energy!
As an EV owner, Google has been incredibly helpful in locating charging stations. In the past, Google Maps has also helped me save fuel by using eco-friendly routes, a very valuable feature considering the environmental impact of carbon footprints today. Now, as a local guide and fellow EV enthusiast, I’m on a mission to assist other EV owners by reviewing EV charging stations.
@Rahul001 every single post you make amuse me … The way you think… I never thought you can use google maps for energy saving and now it stand corrected… It’s great idea
Thank you @SarathUpendran for your valuable comment and words!
If you look into posts, I mentions LG / Google blog who did their work or publish a blog about it! I am just pushing any new informations like transport details to the community.
Yessss… That’s exactly what I’ve been doing on, I’m trying to help new EV owners lby sharing tips and advice on how to safely use these public chargers, highlighting any that are out of order, and rating them based on their charging speed and availability. Sometimes correcting their locations on the map to help people on finding them easier and by posting photos and videos to make it easier for others to find and use them.
with the future heading towards EVs and clean energy, I feel this is a great way to contribute and make a positive impact. It’s a good start in supporting the transition and helping others along the way.
