Today is No Disposable Cup Day (October 4th)! This sustainable day 
is celebrated to promote reusable alternatives and draw attention to the causes produced by single use cups on the environment.
Millions of single use cups (both plastic & plastic lined paper cups) end up in landfills or as a polluter. Let’s make this day & whole month a challenge to make sustainable choices in our daily life.
This day is to remind us of a small change in our daily life to make a difference for our planet for a sustainable cause. As a local guide 
, we are positioned to promote sustainability in our community and on Google Maps.

How can we participate in this challenge?

Supporting Sustainable Local businesses -
- Visit your local cafe, coffee shop, restaurant or a street vendor that has reusable cups like ceramics, steel or any eco friendly products.
- Take a photo
of that reusable cup and upload on Google Maps with necessary tags. - Write or mention about their reusable cups in your review

Sharing your story or experience -
- You can share your story/experience of having to use reusable cups of the local business you visited in the comment or as a post.
- Include any unique reusable cups you came across in any local businesses. For example, like recycled coffee beans cups which are reusable.
- Include the tag #NoDisposableCups
in your post.
Duration of the challenge! 
Challenge starts today (October 4th) and ends on November 4th, 2025.
Criteria of the Challenge! 
- Reusable cups you spotlight to the community should be reusable by the local businesses.
- Even though paper cups can be reusable by us, it’s not done by local businesses & so kindly avoid it.
- A review link
should be inserted in your challenge participation post/comment and that should mention reusable cups. - A photo
of the reusable cup should be added to the challenge participation post/comment.
