No Disposable Cup - Challenge Particpation Post ♻

This is my challenge post for @Rahul001 's challenge about No Disposable Cups.

Today, local guides in Pune attended a meetup hosted by @AjitThite, and for our second round of tea, we visited Swaraj Tea Shop.

They served us with glass cups for the tea.
Though the tea was nothing to write home about, their dedication towards sustainability was commendable by refusing to serve tea in non-disposable cups.

Thank you, dear Rahul, for this fabulous challenge that raises awareness about little things that we often overlook but are important from a sustainability standpoint :+1:

They also had a waste segregation unit outside their little shop that had clear markings for disposing of wet, dry, and plastic waste.

All credit goes to @Rahul001 for initializing this challenge and giving local guides to participate :handshake:

I wasn’t aware of the danger of cancer resulting from plastic cups - that is terrible :scream:
No more plastic cups for tea from now on.

I remember @Annaelisa and @curatorofmemory mentioning in the past that the so-called eco-friendly cups are misleading.

For our community, Chai Pe Charcha has been always an example of No Disposable Cup Challenge @TusharSuradkar .

As the board says, it’s not just a tea but a refreshing burst. With Reusable glasses they serves for the customers, they reduce plastics & plastic lined paper cups from the environment.

Thank you @TusharSuradkar for the voice of sustainability with addition of waste bins and Reusable products of the businesses.

All credit goes to you, dear @Rahul001, for launching this challenge that provides an opportunity for local guides to raise their awareness :+1:

Also, the catchy slogan yesterday led me to think about another challenge for highlighting a small local business with the ‘whackiest slogan or punch line’
