Recap: [In-Person] India, October 17, No Disposable Cups Meet-up in Kolkata

So we have successfully conducted the No Disposable Cups Meet-up in Kolkata. So I reached the TG Road near the Seba Samity Basti in Garden Reach, Kolkata, at around 05:00 PM.

I started searching for any tea shop that uses sustainable cups to serve tea to the customers. It took only a minute to find such a shop.

Even in that area there are lots of tea shops and stalls that have sustainable options. So I have chosen one of the shops and started having tea there.

I found that the shop is not added to Google Maps, so I decided to add the shop very soon. That shop serves the tea in earthen cups that can be easily recycled to make new cups. While having that fantastic tea, I clicked some pictures and finally concluded this meet-up. You can access this shop in a wheelchair.

That’s awesome chai with reusable cups meetup @Shaunak. This specific kind of having reusable cups in a chai shop like this also supports local pottery shops which makes the cups. Thank you for being a voice for Sustainability .
