Kulfi with No Disposable Cups Challenge 🍵♻️

Hy Local Guides, :teacup_without_handle:

Is there any more refreshing than having an icy & creamy kulfi or a chilled sharbat on a hot day? Yes and an icy treat that doesn’t contribute to plastic wastes. I am thrilled to share my experiences of a local business that embodies having reusable cups/plates as part of No Disposable Cups Challenge.

Mumbai Kulfi, a family owned shop situated on Kowidar, India sells fruit flavoured kulfis and refreshing drinks. The shop has wheelchair accessible entrance :wheelchair_symbol: with small pets  allowed inside the shop.

The interior of the Kulfi shop has eye-catching :sparkles: drawing and ambience with dining in :chair: for the customers.

I had a creamy fig kulfi and a refreshing Watermelon Mohabbat Sharbat in a reusable glass cup :teacup_without_handle: with a metal spoon :spoon: and a paper straw. This approach of having reusable cups is mentioned in my review :writing_hand: for them.

Another attractive feature of this kulfi shop is their wall is covered by colourful sticky notes :spiral_notepad:. Customers wrote their experience, what flavour they had and why they had as a review on the sticky notes. With that in mind, I also shared information on how to manage customer reviews and how to share a link or QR code to request reviews on Google Maps.

How I supported their business on Google Maps ?

It’s inspiring to see how local businesses like Mumbai Kulfi is serving delicious kulfis and prioritising sustainability by having reusable cups and eco friendly :recycling_symbol: products.
