This was when I wanted to do a night out with my sister & friends for my pre birthday celebrations. Parents were not comfortable for want of safety and rightfully so. But since it was my birthday celebration they agreed. I also got an invite for Key Nightclub, Hotel Samraat.
So we met in Connaught Place.
Our first stop /,small quiet lounge bar in H Block - Somewhere.

It’s on the ground floor, light music unlike a lounge. No dancing area. We ordered for a veg pizza, which was nice. The Vietnamese soup was bland, lesser veggies and average taste. Service was slow. Then we also had a small Turkish plattter with paneer and pita, hummus & pickles. Hummus was nice rest all average. You can sit and talk easily here. Nice music.
Our 2nd stop - Key Nightclub, Hotel Samraat

We Visited the nightclub through a guest list. This is in hotel Samraat, chanakyapuri. The club entry doesn’t start until 12.30 am so if you come early you will need to wait in the lobby. Lobby is huge but old. The bouncers at the entry check foryour name in the guest list, frisk you and then allow entry.
We got two coupons each for two drinks. You have a tab of Rs 1000 for any drink or food you wish to buy.
It was a Bollywood night. Nice music. Crowd gets more cosy & noisy around 1 or 1.30 am. We ordered for paneer chilli for Rs 1000.
It’s a small night club and there was lot of crowd & smoke. To get a table to sit is for minimum Rs 50,000. Either you exit or you go inside. Once you exit you can’t come in. You are allowed to go inside the night club. We exited and sat in the lobby for a while. Nice different experience. We left around 3.30 am.
Our 3rd and last stop - Mister Chai, Shangrila E Ros

Mister Chai is a cosy open tea coffee lounge inside of Hotel SHANGRILA, Ashoka Road. Its nice hotel very well decorated for xmas and new year.
We were looking for a tea coffee shop that is open 24*7 or around 4 am and mister chai popped up on google. Has a nice comfortable seating. Their night menu is limited. No bakery items are available before 8 am. We took a kettle of cutting chai which serves 3-4 in very small cutting glasses. The tea was nice with good amount of ginger served in small glasses and in a nice kettle. They serve it with namak para and shakkar para. Cost is Rs 500. Tea quantity is very less. The glasses are too small and narrow. Barely a few sips. Namak para was real good , fresh and crispy.
Then we had a lovely breakfast, plate of aloo pyaaz paranthas. Two paranthas with curd, pickles & butter. These were good. Soft & tasty. We sat, enjoyed, chit chatted had a good chai pe charcha till the wee hours of morning. Most of the items in the menu are around Rs 500-600.
Over the phone I was told that there is a cover charge of Rs 500 per person, which was very surprising for a tea coffee lounge. But then they didn’t charge any.
