Hy Local Guides,

Tomorrow is viewed and Celebrated as Purple Friday (2nd Friday of December every year). This day is to show support for the LGBTQ+ community and to welcome new members to this community and Connect community.

Aims

  • To show inclusivity and diversity in the community.
  • To create awareness and promoting diversity in workspace for LGBTQ+ community.

How we can help as a Local Guide

  • Visit any Local LGBTQ+ friendly businesses and gives your valuable reviews and edits.
  • Do a post about any Local LGBTQ+ friendly businesses in Connect. (Tomorrow is a good time to do it)

Pride March happened in India (2024).

  1. Delhi Queer Pride (15th) - November 24th.

  2. Mumbai Queer Pride March - February 3rd.

  3. Thiruvananthapuram Pride March - October.

  4. Kolkata Queer Pride - going to take place on 15th December, Sunday.

  5. Namma Pride (Bengaluru) - November 24th.

  6. Chennai Pride March - June 30th.

  7. Pune

    • Yutak Trust’s 12th Official Pride March - June 3rd.
    • IISER Pride March - January 14th.

I will try to catch up with the Pune Pride March.
IISER is adjacent to my residence - so I will catch up with them a day ahead to know the location and time.

Thank you Tushar for your valuable comment. March in most cities happens at same dates each year most probably. But on Pride Month, we will have some sort of event or walk related to that!
