This Recycling Week ♻️ (2025-11-09T18:30:00Z→2025-11-15T18:30:00Z) is a perfect time to celebrate the collection efforts of local guides who contributed towards recycling on Google Maps and inspired the Connect community. This combination of community with addition of recycling bins on Google Maps is helping to highlight sustainable practices from celebrating sustainability day to editing sustainablilty attributes on Google Maps.

which emphasis on adding waste bins for recyclable products. -
@Trishatishu also inspired us when she added her first plastic bottle recycling drop off location
on Google Maps, which shows valuable individual contributions. -
Ensuring easy access to recycling is important, which is why @TusharSuradkar created and shared Recycle bins
in Pune List in his post, Highlighting Sustainability in Pune. -
To celebrate
the sustainability tag (sustainability) addition on Connect, @K.K.Sharma showcased his sustainability practices through Adding Plastic Bottle Recycling Drop off location on Google Maps. -
Through supporting local businesses on Google Maps, Local Guides have been supporting local eco conscious women owned businesses which highlight recycled products like Deckled Ledge Handmade Papers.
