Pride Month is around the corner and that means it’s time to celebrate Pride Month with our community! 
On this 10th anniversary of Local Guides, we can celebrate Pride Month with love, acceptance, diversity and equality among our community.
Here in our community, we take pride in ourselves for being a welcoming and inclusive space for everyone. Every Story matters and every voice to be told, so let’s celebrate this Pride Month with highlighting places that foster inclusivity & introduce Pride spectrum individuals such as Women & allied Series by @Globe_trotter_Ish.
How to participate in Pride with Local Guides?
- Discover LGBTQ+ Owned/Friendly Businesses - whether it’s an ambience cafe, cozy coffee shop or community centre, share your review in Google Maps & Share your experiences in Connect.
- Adding LGBTQ+ Friendly Businesses to Google Maps - Do you come to know any inclusive spots that are not yet on Google Maps? This is the right moment to add and help others to discover.
- Organise Pride meetups - Consider hosting virtual or in-person or hybrid meetups focusing on LGBTQ+ friendly features on Google Maps. It can be either exploring LGBTQ+ friendly food centres or metro stations or finding inclusive spots along support small businesses photo walk meetups or just coming together to discuss inclusivity.
- Conducting Challenges & Initiatives - One way to celebrate Pride month with the community is to start a challenge or initiative focusing on LGBTQ+ or Pride or inclusivity. Please refer to Step by Step guide to start a Challenge or Initiative.
- You can share your Proudest moments of being a Local Guide with our community.
- Use Hashtag #PridewithLocalGuides when sharing contributions or stories related to LGBTQ+ or Pride.
