Hi Local Guides,

Pride Month is a great time to celebrate love, diversity, and inclusion and a great way to do that is by supporting LGBTQ+ owned or friendly businesses in your area.

@Rahul001 have put forward an initiative to celebrate Pride Month with our community. So as Local Guides we could do a lot to support LGBTQ+ Businesses using Google Maps ;

Find LGBTQ+ Friendly Businesses

:small_blue_diamond: Great clues that the business is a safe and supportive space for everyone is when you’re searching on Google Maps ;

:one: look out for Tags like “LGBTQ+ friendly” ,“LGBTQ-owned” or “Transgender safe space”
:two: Reviews that mention inclusive service
:three: Photos showing Pride flags or welcoming signs

:writing_hand: Leave a Kind Review

:small_blue_diamond: If you visit a business that’s LGBTQ+ owned or inclusive, leave a positive review and You can mention:

:one: Friendly and respectful staff
:two: Inclusive policies like gender-neutral bathrooms
:three: Events or products that support the LGBTQ+ community
Even a short review can make a big impact. :rainbow:

:camera_with_flash: Add Supportive Photos

:small_blue_diamond: Photos allow people to see what kind of place it is, helping them feel more confident and safe about visiting. Make sure to look for ;

:one: LGBTQ+ signs or stickers
:two: Pride-themed decorations
:three: Events or community boards

:convenience_store: Suggest Edits or Add Places

:small_blue_diamond: If you know of a great LGBTQ+ friendly business that’s missing info or isn’t on the map yet, you can:

:one: Add it to Google Maps
:two: Suggest updates like correct hours or tags
:three: Share helpful details for others

By doing these small things, we help people find safe, welcoming places and we lift up businesses that are making a difference. :flexed_biceps::heart:
