Museums are an important key aspect of a culture where it deserves past & present values. These sites need to be inclusive so that any individuals can be visited regardless of their gender, religion or background.
Palm Leaf Manuscripts Museum, situated in Trivandrum is World’s first Palm Leaf Manuscripts Museum which showcases & preserves palm leaf manuscripts used in Kerala.
Building where the museum is situated was originally a collecting area or archives for palm leaf manuscripts. Later it was changed into a jail. As to protect the architecture of the building & to start a museum, the Kerala Archives Department made the building into a museum after shifting the jail into a different location.
Museum building is said to be 300 years old and contains palm leaf manuscripts from the year 1249 to early 1920.
Manuscripts were written in many languages (in Kerala). This needs to be shown how Malayalam language was formed from Brahmi Script 
(which was said to be the formation line of the Malayalam language & Mother of all surviving languages in India & South East Asia).
There’s each building for each section of Palm Leaf Manuscript used in various time periods like art & culture, war records, trade records, education etc..
Museum provides guides (free) to share information on each category to the public.
Currently the museum is not wheelchair accessible 
, but they made a formation for future upwards as making wheelchair friendly & age friendly interiors.
Before visiting, I checked whether museum was free to enter or have tickets on Google Maps. Ticketing 
started from June (this year), so I couldn’t find any review or online information of that on Google Maps. I shared ticket information on my review to the museum where museumgoers might get helpful information from that.
As ticketing was introduced just a month ago, no cashless 
or nfc payments are available now but will be in future.
Interior of the museum has an inclusive ambience & guides provided by the museum shows inclusivity.
