Hy Local Guides,
This year’s Pride celebrations & supporting local LGBTQ+ friendly businesses on Google Maps is extra special with combining inclusivity with the community of Local Guides. This Pride Month (June & July) is a perfect opportunity to share gifts among local guides to promote inclusivity among the community.
I am thrilled to share my experience when I got my Pride gift from @TusharSuradkar when he visited & attended Detroit Pride Parade 2025. The gift includes items which perfectly capture the theme of parade & support of Pride.
The highlight was definitely the Detroit Pistons t-shirt, a cool and comfortable reminder of the event. Along with the shirt, Tushar also included some fantastic rainbow-themed items such as two rainbow flags , some colorful beaded necklaces
and rainbow-colored lip balm
. There was also a small pink notebook
, which will be perfect for writing down notes from future Local Guides meetups and of course, a little something sweet – pride themed Skittles! “I
DIA” badge was included with being pride themed.
It was such a thoughtful and well-curated gift, truly reflecting the joy and vibrancy of Pride. Events like this, where we can celebrate our true selves and share a sense of community, are truly invaluable. Big thanks to Tushar for the amazing gifts and to all Local Guides, share your amazing gift you got from the community with “Pride with Local Guides”.
