How can we contribute towards Auditory accessibility for persons who use sign languages?
-
Including Accessibility in reviews
- When you visit a cafe, museum or a public safe, try to add useful information for deaf community or persons who use sign language in the reviews; such as :- Does any staff know sign language?
- Do they have priority seatings for persons who need auditory accessibility?
- Are there any captions at sign boards or menu at the place?
-
Taking highlighted media
- You can take and upload photos/video to Google Maps of written menu & sign boards which have detailed information of that place or features they provide for the customer. -
Hosting Meetups
- You can host meetups on learning about auditory accessibility or how to contribute towards that accessibility on Google Maps.
