Happy New Year . Today is the starting day for Soup Month (January 1st). What a wonderful day to start being healthy and energetic to have soup right? February 4th is also known for Home-made Soup Day. Do you know Mulligatawny is the National Soup of India (unofficial) from Tamil (South India) cuisine! I don’t know much about it, I guess @Gurukrishnapriya can tell more about it.
Search the phrase “Soup near me” in the Maps search bar. If the shop/Restaurant has soup in their menu or local guides who added soup words in their reviews will be shown in the result!
Share your favourite soup in the comments and where you had it! Food-drinks
Happy soup day🍜 @Rahul001 I love cooking homemade soup specially mushroom brocolli soup. And my favourite is thukpa soup which is Tibetan soup with lot of veggies, noodles and chicken. It is also famous in Himalayan regions of India

Thank you @MathanVibranarayan for commenting. I actually forgot about our Rasam to have a place in the post. As you said, Rasam is good for health and it’s refreshing. More over rasam can be called as a refreshing drink similar to Moru (curd). @TravellerG
Another good post and topic… dear Rahul…
Impressive post which is ingenously connected ‘soup’ to Google Maps - great!
Hello, dear @MathanVibranarayan. Of course, our rasam is a well-accepted soup—a multipurpose dish that can be served in different ways.
Here is a short of a bowl of homemade rasam.
Hi @Rahul001 nice post. Reading your post I craved for soup. As mentioned by you this Mulligatawny soup is made by boiling lentils with coconut milk and spices. It seems that the soup gives a filling satisfaction. Thanks to the ingredient that filling satisfaction.
Thank you GuruKrishnapriya for your valuable comment. Coconut milk with spices, that’s indeed a soup right. I heard of this soup when I visited TN while back!
