Hy Local Guides, 
Today is celebrated as Pet Day, April 11th. This day was founded by Colleen Paige in 2006 to promote adoption from shelters and celebrate joyness and happiness pets bring to our lives.
How can we as a Local Guide contribute to this day? 
- Add Pet Friendly or Pet Allowing keyword in your review if the business is pet friendly.
- Adding photo of Pet Allowing Board Sign🖼️ and editing the caption of the photo of a business.
- If a business
is allowing dog/cat inside or outside the business and the business is not updated the feature, please kindly share the information with staff or owner of the business about pets allowing feature. - Share Accessible Pet friendly features of a business to Google Maps if the business is providing, as there are Guiding Dogs for visual accessibility and Pet Therapy (Animal Assisted Therapy, AAT).
How to find Pet friendly cafes or restaurants near you on Google Maps?
Most effective result would be adding phrase “Pet Friendly Cafes or Restaurants Near me” in the search bar of Google Maps. This comes in handy when you add pet friendly Keyword in review as results will be mostly businesses where local guides added pet friendly in their review. There’s “Dog allowing inside or outside” option on Google Maps for business, but adding that phrase to search bar will result in randomized where result will also “not-pet friendly businesses” too.
