Today is viewed as Visit The Zoo Day (December 27th). Zoos around us are involved as they became a sanctuary or rehabilitation centre for animals, reptiles and birds. Moreover, you can contact Zoo authorities (government) if you come across any endangered species (which may be injured).
The battery car facility is one of the great things I found useful in the zoo for the elderly. And the people that drive them know lot of details about each animal in this zoo. And the ticket rates are very low , atleast for the Indians.

As i am a native of Thiruvananthapuram district i had visited the zoo.The tickets are very cheap and affordable and are available at the front gate.The accessibility features are to be specially mentioned and the zoo very clean and tidy.

I have been to zoos located in Hyderabad, Shimla, Nainital, Lucknow and Delhi, though a long time ago. I will certainly try to visit the Delhi Zoo on this special day today, though it’s raining today so chances of a visit are not looking good.
