Hy Local Guides,
On November 9th, the Meet & Connect: Trivandrum Local Guide Meet-up happened at Napier Museum. Sadly only @ysakh [Vaisakh] has joined. Me and Vaisakh entered the zoo to show you guys how Trivandrum Zoo and its Accessibility Most of the beautiful images were taken by Vaisakh. This Recap also includes Kerala Local Guides Contributions and welcomes new Connect members. As mentioned I hope you guys are not scared of snakes.
Sign boards and zoo maps are placed throughout most areas so people know where to go. Inside the zoo compound, there is a cafeteria and paid bathrooms. No outside food is allowed inside the zoo. If you have food in your bag, there is a cloakroom at the entrance of the zoo.
The whole zoo is wheelchair accessible
, even the bathrooms/toilets. Pathways are designed for Wheelchair Accessibility. You can also book a small four-wheeler ( which they provide ), where they show you every part of the zoo.
These beautiful images were taken by vaisakh and I thank him for sharing these images with me.

Attendance at meetups is often challenging @Rahul001
But you guys did a great job hosting it anyway.
Congratulations to you and @ysakh
The zoo looks amazing with so many reptiles, birds, and animals.
The photos and collages are fabulous.
The accessibility features are nicely captured.
Also, I appreciate the review and table of past local guides in Kerala.
Great to see you carrying on the tradition of meetups in Kerala.
Let’s hope to meet again at an upcoming meetup

Hello there @Rahul001 Beautiful and content post. I’m glad you guys really enjoyed the time in the zoo. Appreciate the efforts for bringing details about Kerala local guides. Thanks for the special mention. We had one more guiding star from Kerala @AmalVenugopal in 2022. Just mentioning my friend here.
Congrats on the post and meet up again. Keep it up.

Thank you @TusharSuradkar for your valuable words. I am just carrying the legacy of past active local guides. They did most meetups when there’s least members and help guides in connect. They are also a reason why I am doing this. Also we Kerala local guides can’t forget Steve. He inspires us a lot.

Thank you @PrasadVR for your valuable comment. Apart from every zoo, this zoo is right inside of the main city. Zoo is suitated right inside Napier museum which is the first fully wheelchair accessible museum with Staircase lift introduced.

Thank you @TravellerG for your support. Without you, I would never be here. Table was kind of difficult because you can only edit the table once you publish it. Also I found out that we can copy paste from other Google sheets which is much useful. Only drawback is I can’t tag anyone inside the table or insert link. It’s actually good to show local guides from Kerala.
