It was a gloomy day in June 2025 in Detroit, but the Public Clock atop the Central United Methodist Church in Detroit brightened up my day.
It was visible from far off.
Here’s the view of Detroit’s skyline and the church with the clock tower that caught my attention from a mile away.
I immediately started walking in that direction without realizing how far it actually was.
After reaching there, I looked straight up from the closest I could get to the clock tower.
Here’s the Central United Methodist Church as seen from the other side with its beckoning clock tower.
How to Go?
The church and clock tower can be visited for free using the FREE tram system in Detroit called the QLINE. Yes, it is fully free all day and also has free Wifi
