While walking on Michigan Avenue in Detroit last month, I bumped into a building called the CPA Building
CPA stands for 'Conductors Protective Association" or something similar, which was a union of railroad employees.
The building was abandoned since they had a lock on the main entrance, and a notice not to enter. Also, the digital entrance system was rusted, and it appeared not to have been used for a long time.
The most attractive part of this rotting building was its amazing public clock with a square dial.
It was placed at a very low height on the building. So much that I could easily reach out to it standing on the sidewalk footpath.
The designs and carvings on the building entrance and the sidewalls were attractive, but they had faded when I visited in June 2025.

I sincerely hope this building gets revamped or at least the clock gets relocated and a new life in another building.
