The Clock Tower in Wanawadi - Simple and Unwavering

Last week @AjitThite gave a hint about a clock tower he spotted on the way to his meetup at Shinde Chhatri.

After the meetup, I stopped by this place on my way home.

It was an ordinary-looking clock tower yet elegant, and the best part of it was its unwavering nature like local guides - doing their job selflessly, helping people with the time of the day - without being asked for.

The clock tower is at a t-point where Wanawadi Road intersects the RV Shinde Road and is mounted on a traffic island.

This area is under the Pune Cantonment and they have decorated the 3-sided clock tower with sloping ‘Kaularu’ tiles.

This area looked deserted during mid-afternoon but the mornings and evenings are busy with a lot of vehicles passing by.

I added this clock tower to Google Maps and it was approved within minutes.

Clock tower series is so awesome, I also visited one clock tower near subzi Mandi delhi, and yes clock tower help us to watch correct time and that clock tower was really beautiful I forget to take picture that day
