The Clock Tower Replica of Las Vegas

Clock towers fascinate me a lot since they stay calm and consistent in the chaos of everyday life.
I like to take photos of clock towers whenever I see one.
They are a witness to an entire day of activity around them and they do this tirelessly for months, years, and centuries together.

I met so many clock towers while traveling in India, Germany, and Japan.
The one I saw in Las Vegas city of the US, however, was a fake one housed in a replica of a medieval European building.

This clock was not really in a tower but in a building very close to the replica of the Arc de Triomphe de Paris in Las Vegas

Like most buildings in Las Vegas, replicas as way of life out here, yet elegant and richly decorated.

The huge clock looks decent too and enhances the beauty of the building that has medieval European architecture.

Here are my Previous Clock Tower Visits

1. Merta City Clock Tower

2. Surat Clock Tower

3. Pune Police Station Clock Tower

4. The Fascinating Clock Tower of Spicer University in Pune

5. The Elegant Clock Tower of Suburban Tokyo

@Tushar_Suradkar Thanks for sharing another facet of the curiosity that is Las Vegas! I commend you on your eagle eye in spotting that clock, particularly as Las Vegas is known for making a point of discouraging clocks in many places 😉

Ah! That is an interesting point @MattGatlin about losing track of time, which seems reasonable while in Vegas.

I wonder what trick they use to have people lose track of their money 😁 in Vegas.

I think the whole idea is to make people lose track of their money 💰😉. In casinos they give the gamblers free alcohol, there are no clocks, and few windows visible in the gaming areas. Even the few windows are heavily tinted to make it difficult to tell whether it’s night or day outside. They’ve got it down to a science 🎰
