On my way to the majestic USS Midway Aircraft Carrier Museum, I spotted this cool little clock tower in San Diego.
This was housed in a building that also had a souvenir shop for kids - how cool is that…!
The views along the market street where I lived in a hostel were very nice.

Fortunately, San Diego is not all concrete jungle like Los Angeles which is not very far from here.
Lush green lawns and shady trees that also have benches for resting and munching on snacks are available everywhere.
In the distance far is the USS Midway Battleship Museum. The distance could be misleading though. It is very far.
On the other side is the view of the seashore with plenty of nice little fishing boats.
As I came closer to the clock tower the views from across the street were amazing.
This for instance is the San Diego metro train in bright red with beautiful palm trees and residential buildings in the background.
