Clock Tower in a Constitution Park - Double Bonanza

In continuation to @K.K.Sharma Ji’s discovery of several Constitution Parks across India, here, here, and here, I realized I had visited one already.

This was during the meetup hosted by Durga a few months back.

I also wrote a post on this park when I visited it on Constitution Day.

The highlight, however, was a clock tower called the Brigadier Sheriff Tower.

The clock had four dials mounted on a tower made of stone.
The tower also has four doors with small balconies.

Have you discovered a clock tower during a meetup?
Please share in the comments below.

Thank you, @TusharSuradkar ji, for informing me about the Constitution Park in Pune. The clock tower in your post looks stunning, as always, adding to the beauty of your content.

Recently, I came across a clock tower, “Ghanta Ghar,” in Banswara, Rajasthan, but unfortunately, its clock wasn’t functional. A few days ago, I saw another clock tower in Meerut, which was also not working. However, I noticed that all the clock towers featured in your series are not only functional but also beautifully maintained. I truly appreciate your dedication and hard work in curating such wonderful posts!

Wonderful photos from close up :+1:

:plus: That is unfortunately true, @K.K.Sharma Ji
These clocks cost a lot to keep them operational.
So unless there is a sponsor, they remain non-functional.

In Pune, there is also a clock in a police station - mentioned at #3 in my list.

When I visited there, the police officer told that they had sent a bill of a mere 15,000 to the government for restoring the clock, but it has been pending for 5 years
