Comerica Park is a Baseball stadium in Detroit that is the home of the local Detroit Tigers Team.
The prominent feature of this stadium is the unusually large number of tiger statues scattered throughout the area.
The tiger statues are on the corners, on the ground, over the windows, columns as far as my eyes could see.
There are elaborate maps of the seating system, warning about ticket scamsters, and the security guidelines.
Here’s the entrance of the stadium from the other side, called the Rocket Entry.
Besides the tiger heads, there are large-scale models in the shape of baseball bats.
Also, I noted that the tiger’s mouth is open, and they all hold a baseball in their mouth.
Here are the ticket counters, and the tiger head can be seen here as well.
These are the entrance gates beyond which visitors like me were not allowed without a ticket.
Here’s the view of the Detroit skyline looking from the Comerica Park Baseball Stadium.
They also have a souvenir shop selling prominently baseball caps, T-shirts, bats and balls, keychains, mugs, and such official merchandise.
Here are the 4 views of the largest tiger statue located near the main entrance.
Looking closely at the flooring, I noticed that several names are engraved on it.
These are probably the baseball players of Detroit’s Tigers team.
Comerica Park can be easily reached from various parts of Detroit using the free tram system called the QLine.
Yes, QLine is completely FREE for unlimited rides WiFi is also free when riding the QLine tram.
Parking is paid, and they charge extra for nearer parking.
The stadium is accessible for the differently abled.
Restrooms are available only inside the stadium.
