The Fox Theatre - a Glittering Relic from the Past

The Fox Theatre is an iconic place in Detroit with gilded, Asian-inspired decor. It hosts a theatre and productions, musicians & comedians.

The ornate architecture and sculptures on its exterior alone are worth going there for.

I was delighted to see that Detroiters are putting so much time and effort into preserving this.

Here’s another daytime view from much closer, looking up the insignia.

Here I am standing outside the box office of the Fox Theatre and looking towards Comerica Park Stadium.

The Fox Theatre can be easily reached from various parts of Detroit using the free tram system called the QLine.

Yes, QLine is completely FREE for unlimited rides :plus: WiFi is also free when riding the QLine tram.
