Did you notice? We can now see all “Likes” displayed when a post has many reactions on Connect

Hello Fellow Local Guides,

I noticed a recent update on Connect; now even when a post receives many reactions, all “Likes” remain visible instead of being hidden after 16 as before.

A small but useful improvement that makes it easier to see engagement and appreciate everyone supporting a post.

Keep building a well-informed community stronger :flexed_biceps: together.

Stay Happy, Stay Healthy!

JAI HO!!!

@Kumaarsantosh
Finally

It seems something was updated in the underlying platform.
I have been reporting this via the form for so loooong.

Yes, finally the voice of practitioners has been heard, @TusharSuradkar. The feedback form is truly a great way to share improvement ideas and change requests, and it’s good to see valuable suggestions getting addressed based on merit.

We have seen many such improvements in the past as well.

@Kumaarsantosh I noticed yesterday night that the update has finally been released! :tada::partying_face:
Thanks for sharing with community.

Thanks for confirming this, @NareshDarji.

Now it’s clearer who likes our posts.
Thank you for the updated info, Mr. @Kumaarsantosh

Yes, @doni_hariadi. Thank you for the confirmation.

@Kumaarsantosh . Thanks for sharing the feedback form. Was.not aware of it. Thanks

Yes, it is very useful and effective, @curatorofmemory.

Important update indeed, @Kumaarsantosh, a long-awaited one.

What is your take if they introduce more emojis than :+1: thumbs up? similar to…

Cheers!

Changes are always part of the improvement cycle, and this could certainly make interactions more expressive and engaging.

Additional emojis like    :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes: would allow LGs to react more naturally to posts instead of depending only on the :+1: reaction. It could also add more emotion and context to community conversations, making engagement feel warmer, more lively, and personal.

On the other hand, having multiple reactions might make the bottom section of posts look slightly cluttered, especially for regular text-based posts. Such reactions may be more suitable and impactful for photos or videos where visual engagement naturally plays a bigger role.

Ultimately, it all comes down to how users prefer to interact on the platform and the kind of improvement suggestions shared by the community. The Local Guides team can then analyze the feedback and take the best decision based on overall user experience and community needs.

What do you think, @AjitThite?

Great find - helpful also, dear friend @Kumaarsantosh
I also noticed that the Kudo Names are displayed in chronological order…the top one is the oldest and the bottom most is the latest.
Best regards

It’s certainly very useful to see the likes in an organised manner. Thanks for sharing this amazing new feature, coach @Kumaarsantosh

Helllo @Kumaarsantosh

Sorry I replied this late. I thought I had commented. I keep noticing alot of improvements on connect. We had this feature on the old connect though.

I have noticed another nice new improvement. We use to have that on the old connect as well.

Happy guiding

Cheers

Thank you dear friend @TravellerG for sharing such insight.

Yes, this was truly needed. A big thanks to everyone who shared their improvement suggestions with the Local Guides team at Google, and to the team for thoughtfully reviewing and addressing the feedback based on merit.

Thank you, @Ssiddharth2000, for your appreciation and for sharing your thoughts as well.

Hi @SholaIB,

You are always welcome anytime. Yes, a lot of improvements are happening on Connect, and a big thanks goes to the Local Guides team at Google for listening to Local Guides’ voices, carefully reviewing the feedback, and implementing meaningful changes for improvement.

Thank you for sharing your insights.

Welcome, dear friend @Kumaarsantosh
:handshake::bouquet:

I never knew there was a limit of 16 @Kumaarsantosh. Maybe I don’t have enough friends. :sad_but_relieved_face:

The improvement I noticed was that touching the icon reveals a list of names now instead of just a row of faces.
