Did You Know? Your Connect post title can have a maximum of 2 emojis

Hello Fellow Local Guides,

While publishing a post on Connect recently, I came across a new error message that I hadn’t noticed before.

In the title of my post, I had used 3 emojis. However, when I clicked on the “Create Topic” button to publish the post, I received an error message saying:

“An error occurred: Title can’t have more than 2 emoji”

The message appeared as shown in the screenshot below.

I am not sure if this is already known to everyone, and some of you may already be aware of this change. Nevertheless, I thought of sharing it here for the benefit of the wider Local Guides community, especially for those who may encounter the same message while creating a Connect post.

:light_bulb: Connect post titles can have a maximum of 2 emojis.

Have you come across this message before?

Thanks for sharing this @Kumaarsantosh. I’ve never experienced this, nor was I aware there was actually such a restriction in place. In my opinion, emojis are over-rated and overused. I only use them so as to be in line with the younger crowd, but there were no emojis when I went to school and was taught letters and numbers back in the pre-tech days.

Last night I started working on the draft of the August Road Mapper Achievement post, and I had no problems. But now that you mention it, I don’t have any emojis in my title nor anywhere else.

Thanks for sharing.

I remember Connect not being able show emojis as the first character in titles. But hopefully this has been fixed also.

Yes @Kumaarsantosh Ji
I have experienced it.
