Feature to Prompt Rejection or hiding Contribution by Google Map

Hello Fellow Members,

Feedback and Suggestion

There is always a room for improvement in whichever system we build. All the features can not be thought of right at the inception phase and hence most of them keep on evolving.

In the series of Evolving Features of Google Map, I would suggest Google map to prompt for rejection or hiding the photos/videos/reviews.

This can also be done by virtue of sending email to the LG…

At present, LGs are contemplating the number of contributions vs hidden ones from one place to another.

At times LG have to use two different devices to find out such differences and the process is quite boring and time consuming.

Instead Google Map should proactively start prompting right at the time Contribution is made if that is going to be hidden or atleast highlight the violation. Alternatively, Google Map can also send an email stating the same to the respective LG.

This will further increase the productivity and internet of LGs.

Hope the team will take this up and work on the enhanced feature which is more user (Local Guides) friendly.

JAI HO!!!

O Google deveria acrescentar outras categorias:

  • Fotos ocultadas;

  • Fotos publicadas;

  • Fotos por pedido específico de data

Avaliações

Tem razão, é muito difícil gerenciar avaliações. Um simples filtro na ferramenta serviria para auxiliar Local Guides e todos os usuários. Filtro de:

  • Avaliações ocultas;

  • Avaliações publicadas;

Edições

Aqui também poderíamos ter filtros. Hoje é praticamente impossível encontrar uma edição se você contribui muito. Poderíamos ter filtros para:

  • Edições publicadas;

  • Edições negadas;

  • Edições em avaliação

  • Edições por período de datas.

:bulb: Filtros, filtros e filtros…

Sucesso

Thanks for understanding and endorsing my suggestion.

I fully agree with your views on enhancing the filters for Photos, Reviews and editions.

Hi @Kumaarsantosh

The idea of notifying Maps users when a review gets hidden is already being tested in France. Google is also testing a new system to allow users to quickly appeal the hiding of an image.

Cheers

Hello @MortenCopenhagen ,

Great to hear this. This is going to be the nice feature to help LG get away from the cumbersome job of identifying herself/himself the hidden photos and/or reviews. This will not only help in identifying and correcting those hidden contributions but also help in reducing pain for future contributions.

Hope to see this feature soon for other countries as well.
