The New Connect is transitioning well and our feedback on New Connect is taken into consideration in a positive and progressive way. We are heard by the Googlers and the Local Guides team. The actions are been taken as appropriate after proper due diligence on our feedback.
One of such examples is, during December 2024, we discussed about this Some Comments and Notifications are disappeared on Connect. Along with the feedback we provided a couple of our CMs have taken this up with the suggested solution.
Now, it has been taken care by introducing the feature to undelete deleted reply. If the reply is deleted accidently or intentionally, there is an option to undelete deleted reply. This option is enabled when the reply is deleted by the author. The option to undelete the deleted reply is available as undo symbol at the same position below the reply replacing the delete symbol.
In Photo 1, the screenshot is taken after deleting the reply. To undelete the deleted reply option is circled in red colour.
Hello, my dear friend @Kumaarsantosh
I have narrowly escaped many times and the ‘Undo’ button is a permanent resolution…
Thanks for pointing this…
Very clearly written…
Regards, dear friend
Great and useful Topic, @Kumaarsantosh . I’m happy that the team took care of my report very quickly.
I hope one day that will find a better position also for the “solution” post, considering that a lot of wrong solutions are actually too easily given, and we have to fix them all the time.
On mobile it’s very possible to unintentionally press the wrong command, especially if, like me, you have fat fingers
Yes @ErmesT, indeed it’s an useful topic and meaningful for all of us. Thanks for taking this up.
We are thankful that our voice is heard at all levels for the continual improvements in the system.
Yes and sometimes unintentionally thinking about like command, Solution command is being pressed.
I am sure with the feedback we all have provided along with CMs inputs, the team will take care of this aspect in their future improvements deployment.
