The first two weeks have been super amazing and I just wanted to take this opportunity to thank all the Local Guides who participated and supported this initiative! Huge thanks to @TerryPG, @Kumaarsantosh and @SophatCHY who were the Point of Contact for the three respective communities!
When I helped put together Community Live 2020 together with 35 other Local Guides including most of the Connect Moderators, it was a huge undertaking but we absolutely enjoyed the collaborative process.
I hope that through this Community Spotlight, Local Guides in the participating communities can experience that same joy of working with each other, sharing of skills, supporting each other and cultivating the many ideas to produce something magical to then share to the rest of the community. I hope that it brings everyone closer and prove to you all that you can achieve amazing things together!
This week, the community torch goes on to Team Nigeria and you can read their promo post as well as their first post to start their spotlight! Next week, we will have Team India and L’équipe Francophone but for now, let’s put our hands together and give a warm welcome to Team Nigeria!
Do also sign up to their meet-ups:
• In-person Meet-up: A Taste of Home in Lagos
• Virtual Meet-up: Naija Virtual Hangout
Thanks everyone for supporting this! Please do read the posts above, leave a comment, ask a question or two or more.. and just have fun getting to know all these amazing communities and Local Guides around you!
