Support Women Owned Businesses & A Pottery Class ⚱️ - Kosava

Hy Local Guides,:funeral_urn:

As part of @Globe_trotter_Ish’s Let’s Empower Women Owned Businesses on Google Maps, I am glad to discover this Pottery class and studio by a woman entrepreneur. This discovery of pottery is inspired by @JaneBurunina’s post of Empowering Women-Owned Businesses: Visit to Imprints of Earth Ceramics.

Kosava is a Pottery class and studio for those who love to make ceramics or Terracotta. It was started by a young Ceramic artist, Rosa Abraham 3 years ago.

She has a beautiful studio with classes per daily scheme. She gives Wheel throwing, heating & glazing classes for her students and customers.

How I helped her business as a Local Guide?

  • Shared information on how to enable “identifies as Women Owned” on her profile.
  • Shared information on how to enable “LGBTQ+ :rainbow_flag: Friendly on her profile, as she inclusively welcomes all individuals from any spectrum.
  • Corrected her working hours :hourglass_not_done: as she told me.
  • Gave her a review.

What is unique about Businesses near Kosava?

4 women owned businesses are near to each other, supporting each other and work as a community. They eachother gives spaces for parking, Bathroom facilities and other facilities for customers of each businesses.

Thank you @Rahul001 I’m truly touched that my post about Imprints of Earth Ceramics inspired your discovery! It’s amazing how @Globe_trotter_Ish initiative is bringing us together through the stories of women entrepreneurs.
Pottery is more than just a craft, ceramic pieces are true works of art. They add warmth and beauty to our homes, while also serving a practical purpose. Across many countries, people have cooked, served, and stored food in ceramic dishes for centuries. They’re eco-friendly, and food prepared in them often tastes even better!

It’s inspiring to learn about Rosa Abraham, the talented young ceramic artist. That’s awesome that her dedication keeps this ancient craft alive and relevant for new generations.
So glad to see this beautiful tradition continuing around the world in the hands of creative, passionate women. Let’s keep discovering and mapping them! :globe_showing_europe_africa::orange_heart::sparkles:
