Support Women Owned Businesses & Home Baker - Sheeba La Fleur 👩‍🍳

Hy Local Guides, :woman_cook::shallow_pan_of_food:

As part of Let’s Empower Women Owned Businesses on Google Maps by @Globe_trotter_Ish, I am glad to introduce this Home Baker’s Business.

I discovered this business while taking Store-Front photos, an revived Initiative by @TusharSuradkar called Reviving the Art of Storefront Photowalk. I checked the business on Google Maps and found out that there’s no Images. I took Store Front photo and menu photos which will help customers as well as the owner of the business.

Let’s meet Sheeba La Fleur.

Sheeba, a passionate homemaker turned entrepreneur, runs a cozy and welcoming Biryani and Bakery restaurant called Sheeba’s La Fleur. Her business combines the rich, aromatic flavors of traditional biryani with the warmth and sweetness of freshly baked pastries, all rooted in home-style cooking. She focuses on authenticity, quality, and a homely touch in every dish they serve. She cooks for dishes at home and serve at her Resturant.

Let’s hear what she has to say:

  1. What inspired you to start a Biryani and Bakery Restaurant?

Answer : The inspiration came from my passion for cooking and the appreciation I received from family and friends over the years. I wanted to share the same joy of home-cooked meals with a wider audience. Biryani has always been a family favorite, and baking is my personal passion-so blending both into a restaurant felt like the perfect way to turn my hobby into a fulfilling career.

  1. As a homemaker, how do you cooperate with homemade foods in your Restaurant?

Answer : At La Fleur we never compromise on quality. We procure fine ingredients for crafting our delicacies. Our products are top notch and talk of the town. People recognize our brand by Quality and Variety Food. I bring the same care, love, and attention to detail from my home kitchen into the restaurant. Our recipes are mostly traditional, passed down from generations, and every dish is prepared in small batches to maintain that homemade feel. Even our spices are ground in-house, and we use fresh ingredients just like I would at home.

  1. What kind of homemade foods do you serve customers in your Restaurant?

Answer : We usually serve Indian, Arabic, Italian and Chinese cuisine. But at the restaurant we restrict the menu to Varieties of Biryanis :shallow_pan_of_food:(daily), Sadya (weekly once), Nadan Lunch (weekly once) as lunch menu. For Dinner Traditional breads like Idiyappam, orotti and parotta with non veg korma, Roast or Curries and fries.

We have a wide variety of cakes :shortcake:: Birthday Cakes, Wedding Cakes, Desserts, Puddings, Pickles and other baked goods and snacks.

Our Signature Snacks are Chicken Cutlets, Chicken samosa and Chicken Croquettes.

Pazhampori (Banana Fritters) is popular for its tasty and refreshing cup of hot tea.

We also serve fresh juices :cup_with_straw: and home made Salads too.

  1. How do you think women can run successful businesses through home-making foods?

Answer : Women have a natural connection to food, especially when it comes to nurturing through cooking. With the right mindset and a bit of business guidance, home-making skills can be turned into powerful entrepreneurial ventures. Starting small, staying authentic, and building trust through quality can help women create a loyal customer base and grow confidently.

Thank you Sheeba for giving me such a wonderful Interview and starting Home Baked Restaurant for the community.

The storefront looks fabulous, a small but tidy shop.
Nicely captured @Rahul001

It is also surprising that they did not have any photos on Google Maps.
Did you educate the owner about owning the business and completing the business profile?
I think as a owner she can also marked it as women-owned which will display this attribute on Google Maps.

Yes Tushar, even before giving me interviews, I check whether a business is claimed it not, if not : I talk with Owner or staff to make them known about claiming and Attributes to enable.
