Friends follow up on local guides connect

Hi guys,

I don't know if this subject as already been discussed but I haven't found anything here in connect.

My idea would be to create a way to follow the friends we would like to be connected with. 

At the moment, if we want to see the posts created by a friend, we have to go on his profil. If we want to see the latest posts created by 100 friends we have to check each profil and it is not easy. 

My idea would be to have :

- An option to be connected with someone,

- A recap page with all the friends we are connected with. Under each username, we could have their 3 latest  threads.

In that way we could see very quickly if one of our friend has posted something new.

This page could be sorted eather by username or by date of post.

What do you think?

Actually @Julien44, I was considering to submit more or less the same, so I gladly upvote your idea.

As an alternative option, you could also have an extra tab on your own user profile. Now you have 'Activity' there which shows your own activities, and 'Starred' which shows your bookmarked posts. I would then suggest an additional tab 'Friends activities'

Thank you for pointing this one out to me.

I have spent several hours going through the Ideas Exchange trying to find some of the ones I had posted some time ago but with no luck and had not seen this one either.

Instead I saw quite a number of the same ideas popping up time and again as I scrolled back through the list.

What is going on with their sort order ?

La cantidad de Post que se generan diariamente en Connect es muy alta, y muchos de ellos son muy  interesantes y en general las personas que postean son las mismas que generan los post interesantes (contenido de calidad), por esta razón me gustaría poder contar con una nueva solapa en mi perfil donde pueda seguir a estas personas.

Como antecedente podemos decir que existe una opción en el menú, indicando subscribir pero la verdad es que está opción no es muy utilizada, ya que suscribe al post para despues verlo en la configuración de mi perfil en la solapa “Mis subscripciones”, es casi irrelevante, ya que anteriormente puede tildar la opción de suscribir a todos los post que responda, por otro lado no se cuantas personas realmente consultan esta opción en el menu personal de configuración, creo que ninguna, favor de indicar si alguno lo realiza…

Suscribirse - no es relevante

Pero si puede ser utilizada en forma positiva, ya que podría marcar que me suscribo al creador del post, ya que me puede gustar el estilo que tiene de escritura o simplemente porque soy su fan en Connect y quiero conocer todo lo que el escriba.

Subscribir a la persona

Esta manera de seguir a una persona en Connect, permitiría que no me pierda los nuevos posteos que ella realiza, el otro día me pasó que un nuevo post de Paul se me paso y no lo leí y recién lo pude ver varios días después en forma indirecta, esto también sería una manera de hacer más social a Connect.

Dentro de la solapa podría tener como tarjetas de todos los seguidores que tengo yo, la imagen de esas tarjetas podría ser el avatar que tiene definido el usuario al que sigo / suscribi. Al presionar dentro de esa tarjeta, podría ver el listado o un listado en forma de tarjeta de todos los post que tiene creado ese usuario. Un detalle cuando el usuario creo un post nuevo, seria lindo que la tarjeta con el avatar de el cambie de color o tenga alguna cosa distintiva, visual, que marque que tiene un post nuevo. De esa manera solo consultaremos todos los usuarios que sí tienen post nuevos.
