This End of March starts a year long LGBTQ+ Celebration Day with Pride Month and Transgender Visibility & Awareness Week being the common ones.
I am thankful to @AjitThite for his work in reviving Support Local Business and creation of various Logos for the community. As part of his Initiative, I am glad to introduce Challenge : Pride to support LGBTQ+ friendly businesses in Google Maps.

CHALLENGE : PRIDE 
This Challenge will be to Support LGBTQ+ friendly and LGBTQ+ Owned Businesses in Google Maps.
Free to use logo to support LGBTQ+ friendly businesses, designed by me.
How to Participate
?
- Visit your local LGBTQ+
friendly cafes or restaurants or tea shops
& tell us your experiences as a post.
- Conducting a meet-up
, including a visit to local unique LGBTQ+ cafes or restaurants or any businesses or attraction. Like @Kumaarsantoshβs Recap of Exploring Pride Station.
- Introducing Unique LGBTQ+ Owned Businesses to the community. Remember to take consent or permission if you are going to share the photos of the owner/owners. Also remember to note the pronouns if they have one.
- Introducing Unique LGBTQ+ friendly attractions
where staffs are from LGBTQ+ community. Like @Pratik_89βs Cafe with Book Challenge.

LGBTQ+ friendly businesses. Thanks to the Local Guides Team for bringing it into the light.
- Women-owned LGBTQ+
Friendly Businesses - showcasing LGBTQ+ friendly businesses which are women owned.
- LGBTQ+
Owned Businesses - showcasing unique businesses that are owned by LGBTQ+ community members or individuals.
- Advocate for LGBTQ+ community and related topics (Must be related to any awareness or celebrating days).
How you can look if a business is LGBTQ+
friendly?
- Look for Gender neutral bathrooms - if a business have gender neutral bathrooms, then the business is LGBTQ+ friendly
- Look for any poster or signs - if a business have poster or signs of LGBTQ+ related, then probably the buisness would be LGBTQ+ friendly.
- LGBTQ+ related menu items - if a businesses (probably cafes or restaurants), have LGBTQ+ related menu items ( would be around for pride month). Then the businesses would be LGBTQ+ friendly.
- Ask staff or Owner - easy way to find if a business is LGBTQ+ friendly is to ask the staff or the owner of available.
- Word of mouth - you can also find LGBTQ+ friendly businesses by word of mouth of other local guides.
