Beat the Heat 🍧 Challenge & Support Local LGBTQ+ πŸ³οΈβ€πŸŒˆ Friendly Businesses

Hy Local Guides,:shaved_ice::rainbow_flag:

As part of Beat the Heat Challenge by @MathanVibranarayan and Support Local LGBTQ+ Friendly Businesses - Challenge : #PRIDE, I am showcasing a Fruit juice Shop which is wheelchair accessible :wheelchair_symbol: and LGBTQ+ :rainbow_flag: friendly in my neighborhood.

This unique shop, FruitBae was discovered during my recent meetup of taking storefront photos of local businesses, inspired by @TusharSuradkar’s Reviving the Art of Storefront Photowalk.

Had this Strawberry punch with Ice cream and strawberry slices during the afternoon Heat.

This shop was also recommended by the local LGBTQ+ community to me as a LGBTQ+ friendly Juice Shop.

As this business didn’t enable the LGBTQ+ friendly feature, I told the owners about having this feature in the profile and that can help the community to find such places.

Share such Unique LGBTQ+ friendly fruit juice or ice cream shops near you to Beat the heat. Don’t forget to tag Mathan.

Nice find @Rahul001 and the Strawberry Punch looks :face_savoring_food:

Can you please also mention in what ways is this business LGBTQ+ friendly or what LGBTQ+ features were available here?

I am curious to know, so that I can check these too at new places.

Good question and thank you for reminding me, I will add here and in the orginial post!

How you can look if a business is LGBTQ+ :rainbow_flag: friendly?

  • Look for Gender neutral bathrooms - if a business have gender neutral bathrooms, then the business is LGBTQ+ friendly
  • Look for any poster or signs - if a business have poster or signs of LGBTQ+ related, then probably the business would be LGBTQ+ friendly.
  • LGBTQ+ related menu items - if a businesses (probably cafes or restaurants), have LGBTQ+ related menu items ( would be around for pride month). Then the businesses would be LGBTQ+ friendly.
  • Ask staff or Owner - easy way to find if a business is LGBTQ+ friendly is to ask the staff or the owner if available.
  • Word of mouth - you can also find LGBTQ+ friendly businesses by word of mouth of other local guides.

I hope this helps you. This is how I mainly find if a business is LGBTQ+ friendly.

I find above juice Shop to be LGBTQ+ friendly by word of mouth of our local LGBTQ+ community as they served LGBTQ+ themed drinks on Pride month.
