Let’s meet Shahrukh Khan!
Shahrukh Khan is the owner and founder of Big Belly Momos, a popular momo restaurant chain in Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, offering a diverse range of over 150 varieties of momos and Pan Asian Cuisines. Established in 2021 at Panavila Junction, the brand has expanded to multiple outlets, including Pattoor, Kowdiar, Nalanchira and Vanross Junction. They serve approximately 15,000 momos daily through their outlets and food delivery platforms.

- What inspired you to start your own business which is centred around momos?
You may seen this image in Love is in the air challenge too!
Answer : Growing up, I loved eating momos at street food stalls. I wanted to share that same experience with others, so I decided to open Big Belly Momos. I wanted to create a space where people could enjoy authentic, homemade-style momos in a welcoming and hygienic atmosphere.
- What makes your momos Restaurant unique from other restaurants?
Answer : Our momos are hand made with love and care, using traditional recipes and fresh ingredients. We offer a variety of flavors and fillings, from classic Veggie,Chicken, Chocolate etc at affordable prices. We are the proud one to introduce momo culture in Trivandrum city.
- As a LGBTQ+🏳️🌈 friendly and wheelchair accessibility♿, how do you ensure your business is safe and welcomes customers inclusively?
Answer : We strive to create a safe and inclusive environment for all customers. We have a zero-tolerance policy for discrimination and ensure that our staff is trained to be respectful and welcoming to everyone. Our wheelchair-accessible entrance and seating area make it easy for customers with mobility needs to enjoy our food.
- How do you think Google Maps helps in your business?
Answer : Google Maps helps customers find us easily and get directions to our nearest Outlets. It also shows our business hours, contact information, and reviews, making it easier for new customers to discover us.
- Do you like to share any success stories with Google Maps?
Answer : One success story is when a customer found us on Google Maps and wrote a glowing review. Word-of-mouth spread, and soon we had a surge of new customers visiting us. It’s amazing how Google Maps can help small businesses like ours reach a wider audience.
