Hy Local Guides, ![]()
As the world turns its attention to the season of love, we wanted to do something truly meaningful for our community. Love comes in many forms, but in the Local Guides community, there is a unique kind of bond - one built on shared curiosity, the thrill of discovery, and a mission to make the world more accessible & inclusive for everyone.
Today, let’s shine a spotlight
on a “Power Couple” who truly embodies the heartbeat of our global family : @ShreyaMusings and @Ssiddharth2000, continuing the spotlight of our 2025 Valentine’s Day
spotlight.
They are more than just two people who travel together ; they are a synchronized team of champions
. Shreya, level
local guide
from Lucknow is a champion for women empowerment through her “She Maps Too” initiative and was the host of the Delhi Mega Meetup, where Siddharth served in the core team. Their impact reaches far beyond Delhi - together, they worked behind the scenes of the Bangalore Mega Meetup to ensure it was accessible
, sustainable
& inclusive
for everyone. A standout moment in their journey was their involvement in the Pride Meetup at Sidecar, where they helped celebrate diversity and support LGBTQ+
friendly spaces in the heart of New Delhi.
Siddharth, level
local guide
from Delhi is a top contributor & recognized in @AdamGT’s Movers & Shakers Champion of 2025. Together, they use our community for a good cause : from organizing a Christmas celebration at NAB Delhi to supporting small businesses at the Blind Relief Association Diwali Mela. Whether they are exploring handicraft museum
, promoting sustainability
at Roots Cafe or sharing smoothies
at Jugmug Thela, they prove that every moment is a valuable review waiting to happen.
Let’s hear what Shreya & Siddharth have to share about love
.
- Where did the journey for this dynamic mapping duo truly begin?

Answer : Their story started in Hyderabad with their friendship turned into love as they navigated the city together. They spent those early days mapping the Amrutha Castle
, the tech hubs of HITEC City
and the relaxing Aalankrita Resort
. One of their core memories is their first meetup-cum-picnic at the iconic Deer Park in Hauz Khas, where they connected with the Delhi Local Guide family.
- What does a “romantic getaway” look like for two dedicated Local Guides?

Answer : For them, every vacation is a mapping mission! On their wedding anniversary, they explored local spots
, eateries
& museums
in Ramnagar and Jim Corbett National Park. Even at the high-altitude Rohtang Pass
, they spent their “us time” teaching a local paratha seller how to add his business on Google Maps so he could reach more travellers.
- Can you share a specific “mapping moment” that stands out as their most romantic?

Answer : In 2025, they returned to an ancient Cathedral
in Goa to fulfill a prayer they had made back in 2019. Standing at the pier and praying together was incredibly moving - but in true Local Guide spirit, they also took the time to map a nearby Christian Museum
they had missed on their previous visit.
- How do they work together to support inclusive causes like the Blind Relief Association?

Answer : They work as a perfectly synchronized team. Siddharth handles the “background” work - logistics, fixing dates and agendas - while Shreya is the “voice” of the duo, talking to owners and sharing the vision of the community. At the National Association for the Blind, Shreya distributed gifts
& shared about accessibility for the visually impaired while Siddharth documented the day to share the joy with the world.
- What is their favorite place they have visited together?

Answer : While they love exploring everywhere, Bir and Kasol in Himachal Pradesh hold a very special place in their hearts - especially after celebrating Siddharth’s birthday
in Kasol with a musical night
and lots of love
.

What final message do they have for other couples who want to map together?

Answer : "Be passionate & have a spirit to discover hidden places. Motivate each other and stay a little competitive - it keeps the drive alive.”
Join me in celebrating this inspiring couple
. Their journey reminds us that Google Maps isn’t just about finding places - it is about finding the people who make those places special.
