As the season of love continues to inspire our community, I am absolutely thrilled to spotlight another remarkable duo who proves that mapping is an adventure best shared. Following our inspiring spotlight on Shreya Siddharth, where we saw how love and leadership unite in Delhi, our journey now takes us across the globe to highlight a couple whose impact spans continents: Falguni & Zac.

Let’s take a moment to get to know @FalguniP & @zac555

Originally from the vibrant streets of Mumbai, India , this dynamic pair has now brought their mapping magic to the scenic landscapes of Vancouver, Canada . Falguni, level local guide is an inspiring woman local guide in our community - a Connect Moderator , an Accessibility Champion & a 2020 Guiding Star . Her leadership shines through the “She Leads” initiative and her heartwarming “Paws on Map” Challenge . Falguni is also a mentor for many on Connect, even teaching us how to style our posts on Connect to make them stand out.

Zac, level local guide who is Falguni’s partner-in-adventure and discovers the best food gems . Together, they are dedicated to supporting the local businesses and finding beauty in the details, whether they are leading a Small Business Photo Walk or finding a unique creative escape at a handcrafted studio. From hosting meetups over waffles and coffee to discovering authentic hidden gems like the Brooklyn Dumpling Shop, they map the world as one. Their shared passion even took them to the ConnectLIVE Tokyo 2025, inspiring others that their love for community knows no borders.

1. Where is the one absolute favorite place you two have visited together?

Answer : For Falguni and Zac, peace is found at Eagle Run Vista Point in Squamish, British Columbia. It is a spot they hold dear for its breathtaking views and calm atmosphere, especially during eagle-watching season when they can truly connect with nature.

2. What was the most memorable trip you both took together where Google Maps was your “best friend”?

Answer : Their journey through Alberta, Canada - exploring Calgary & Banff National Park - stands out as their most memorable adventure. They relied on Google Maps for everything : finding hotels , scouting hiking trails and navigating public transport . Even in areas with limited signal, they used offline maps to ensure they never missed a must-visit viewpoint.

3. If you both are planning the perfect Valentine’s date for a couple with a pet, where would you all go?

Answer : They would start with a pet-friendly ferry ride to Granville Island. After exploring the market and enjoying a meal at an outdoor pet-friendly restaurant, they would head to Sunset Beach . There, they enjoyed a cozy picnic with ocean breezes and mountain views while their dog played nearby - a perfect “Paws on Maps” experience.

4. How do you find creative inspiration together through Google Maps?

Answer : They love using Maps to find “creative escapes.” One of their favorite memories is discovering a handcrafting studio , where they spent time crafting physical memories to match the digital ones they create on the map. It is these unique & artistic experiences that make their mapping journey so special.

5. How does the “She Leads” initiative resonate with Falguni & Zac as a couple?

Answer : While Falguni leads the “She Leads” initiative, both she and Zac are inspired by every woman featured. They find that each story of strength and meaningful contribution resonates with their own values of helping others and making the world better through small & positive actions.

It was Friday, Oct 23, 2023, and we were together, visiting Tokyo Tower

Right at the top of the tower @zac555 stood in front of @FalguniP , took a ring out of his pocket, dressed up and asked her, “Falguni, will you marry me?”
