Connect Moderators are Local Guides just like you and me. They apply the knowledge they’ve gained as active members of our community to moderate Connect and help improve the experience for everyone. You may see them welcoming newcomers, explaining the program, answering questions, and sharing their knowledge with others.

What I love about being a Local Guide: Being a Local Guide is the best way to help millions of people just by making helpful contributions on Maps. I love to share my food experiences and show support for small businesses.
Why I’m a Connect Moderator: Here on Connect, I’ve found so many wonderful people from around the globe; they have become like my extended family. Being a Connect Moderator is a great way to guide new Local Guides and show them how amazing our community is.
My favorite things to explore: Food! I am a big foodie and love to explore different types of cuisines. I equally enjoy spending time in nature. My city Mumbai has so many beaches. I just sit and watch the waves, collect some shells, and enjoy the sunset. It’s magical. I love taking walks in the park, too.
My favorite type of contribution(s) to make on Google Maps: Well, this one is tricky as I love to contribute in different ways that could be helpful. Еditing information, sharing my experience by writing reviews, and adding photos of small businesses and local restaurants are my top favorites. It’s exciting to see my photos being featured. I like to make lists, too. I feel it’s the best way to help people find places to visit and things to do. I was surprised to see a few of my lists being featured on Maps.
Languages I read/speak/write fluently: I speak English, Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, and Kutchi. I can read and write in English, Hindi, and Marathi.
Places I’d like to visit: I want to explore the whole of India first and wish to go on a road trip someday. I want to meet my friends around the world. The top five countries on my list are Indonesia, the U.S., Japan, Italy, and Australia.
Fun fact about me: I am an animal lover, and my heart melts whenever I see dogs and cats. I love to feed stray animals and never miss a chance to pet them. Also, books are my escape to paradise. I enjoy taking pictures of beautiful interiors, food, flowers, plants, and clouds, too. This is just a little way to pause and appreciate the beauty around.
