Hi Folks!
Thank you all for the love and support on my previous post — Elaichi Chai![]()
Now, with your continued encouragement, I’d like to make this an open invite for everyone around the world to share their most mouth-watering food spots from your hometowns, cities, and favorite travel destinations.
It’s not a challenge — more like a “tag along and share” idea — so we can create a big melting pot of delicious global food suggestions.
Who knows, maybe one day all of us Local Guides can visit each other’s places and share in the food glory! ![]()

Back to the Story
The next spot on my list is a newly opened store called Brooklyn Dumpling Shop.
It was under construction for quite a while, and honestly, I was both excited and worried it might never open. I kept wondering what was taking them so long!
But finally, it did — and my wife and I ended up visiting on their opening weekend (completely by happy accident!).
What We Ordered
We took full advantage of their new-launch happy hour specials and ordered a wide variety of dishes:
-
Spicy Edamame — a must-order! -
Four Types of Dumplings (2 veg, 2 non-veg) -
Hibachi Tossed Noodles — smoky, flavorful, and easily our favorite dish! -
Wagyu Cheeseburger
My Thoughts
Now, I know what some of you might be thinking — he’s not praising the dumplings at a dumpling shop?! ![]()
But let me stop you right there:
When the “other” dishes are that good, you know the main event is going to be amazing too!
And it truly was — the dumplings paired with their house-made chili sauce were an excellent combination.
The smoky noodles are an absolute must-try, especially if you can catch them on a deal like we did.
And if you still have room (or just want to indulge your senses), try the Wagyu burger.
YOU. WILL. NOT. REGRET. IT. ![]()
