Everyone around the world celebrates Christmas Eve most of the time with their families but I lost my parents a very long time ago since then i used to go to Sacred Heart Catholic Church in evening alone and during day to an orphanage and played with kids and helped them guiding what they can do after 12th exams. For last two years I and @Ssiddharth2000 have been going to NAB (National Association of Blind). They share a list of things they need to celebrate Christmas each year with 500+ kids from pre-school till 12th standard kids like, clothes, biscuits packets, balls to play, art supplies, christmas tree, decorations, cake, cookies, christmas caps, santa dress, a few of us become santa and much more.
It was so much fun, we danced, we sung Christmas carol and the kids prepared a skit for us. They were so happy with the gifts we all accumulated for these kids. Also, they was a 5th standard boy who had his birthday too.
I hope you all do something constructive with the resources you can accumulate to help these children all around the world.
Wish you all Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.
Wonderful video you posted @ShreyaMusings and thanks for sharing this Christmas with NAB. On January 4th, it’s World Braille Day. I hope you can do post with NAB to show we can contribute in that day!
I will try my best @Rahul001 the requirements they have is helping the kids in any way possible like teaching them before there exams in subjects like english, hindi, maths, applied science. Donate Braille books that are course related or teaching them a hobby. As these kids are brilliant with chess, indoor games and art. Rest I will keep you all posted.
